ROXBURY, MA – September 13th, 2018- Linwood Fashion Group, a newly formed group of Boston based fashion designers, have come together to produce their debut show aptly dubbed ‘Fashion on the Hill’ during
Boston Fashion Week. On October 6th, 2018 the fashion group will display their unique designs on models strutting down Linwood Square in Roxbury (32-34 Linwood Street, Roxbury, MA) which will be transformed into an urban chic runway. Doors open at 5:30pm and the show will start at 6:00pm. VIP’s, press, fashion lovers, local personalities, and influencers are all expected to attend with a limited number of seats being sold to the public.

 

This exclusive show is the only of its kind during this season’s Boston Fashion Week and it will not disappoint. It is being produced in conjunction with HYPE Fashions, a world renowned fashion show production company.

The group’s founders, Pelenge Doiley, Jani Lopes and Amie Dakowa are creating unique collections which combine their love for art and fashion. Each designer will have an individual segment that will collectively showcase women’s, men’s, as well as children’s Spring/Summer 2019 fashion. A poet and opera singer will serve as intermittent entertainment that will elevate the event to a new level. The designs showcased can be purchased directly from the runway and select boutiques will be scouted to carry the designer lines. An after party will follow the fashion show meant solely for buyers, press, and VIPs. You must be on the guest list to attend the VIP party.
